Jan Baumgardner is dedicated to the idea of health solutions that everyone can afford. Having set up medical offices for the Peace Corps in Guatemala, he always made the effort in his private practice to help the poor and the disenfranchised. He is working right now to establish a new health care system in Colorado that can be a model for the nation. He has seven children and five grandchildren.
